Plein Air Event – Arts of the Pamlico

“En plein air” is French for “in the open air.” In art circles, it means painting outdoors in a natural environment to capture a subject’s essence. Come watch local artists carry on the traditions of past masters, painting light and movement in a way that can only be captured by observing the subject outdoors, au naturel. Artists will scatter around Swindell’s and Bath, wherever inspiration beckons.
